We are looking forward to a new season of concerts at the beautiful and historic Hansom Hall, beginning with our 2026 Festival, 17-19 September 2026.

Leicester International Music Festival, 17-19 September 2026

Music Among Friends

We brought the curtain down at Hansom Hall on a memorable three days of festival concerts. Thank you to our lovely audiences for joining us, and to Nicholas Daniel and his team of wonderful musicians: Jack Liebeck and Ben Roskams (violin); Ting-Ru Lai (viola); Ashok Klouda (cello); Katya Apekisheva and Danny Driver (piano) and Allie Daniel (voice).

We were so privileged to witness playing at a level which would have graced any concert hall in the world.

Lunchtime concert, 1st october, 1pm:

Nicholas daniel (oboe) & huw watkins (piano)

Our first lunchtime concert of the season sees the return of our artistic director, Nicholas Daniel, who will be joined by the distinguished pianist and composer, Huw Watkins.

We will hear Huw’s own ‘Five Welsh Folksongs’, together with music by Bach, Helen Grime and Herbert Howells, whose Oboe Sonata was lost for many years.

Tickets (Adults £20, U25s £5) are available by clicking the button below. We’d love you to join our friendly audience!
