Leicester International Music Festival is committed to working in the diverse and vibrant Leicester Community, bringing music to those who would otherwise not experience it.
During our festival in 2022, Artistic Director, Nicholas Daniel, visited the brilliant Freedom Youth Club with musicians, Ji Hye Jung, Ashok Klouda and Sally Pryce. Freedom Youth Club is a social drop-in sessions for 13–19-year-olds, targeting mainly unaccompanied asylum-seeking young people, and refugees.
We are delighted to be returning to the Freedom Youth Club in September 2023.
